Beyond Creation Science-New Covenant Creation from Genesis to Revelation

The Scriptures, in the book of Ecclesiastes, chapter 1, verses 9 and 10; say that "there is nothing new under the sun. Is there anything of which it may be said, 'see; this is new'?" I believe that Tim Martin and Jeff Vaughn, as you will see as you read their book; are not the first to think of the Scriptures in a covenantal context, but I think that you will see, perhaps, that they have approached the subject very consistently, from beginning to the end of the Scriptural record.

I must admit, that, while I have not yet read the whole thing ( I'm about 2/3 to 3/4 of the way through it ), and am not the most qualified to speak ( or write ) on this subject, having done no real research for myself in these areas, except some extensive biblical studies on other subjects; I have been convinced that the covenantal standpoint that the authors have taken are biblically sound, and I think that if you should choose to read this book: I think that you too, will agree!

I think that I've said before, in several of my posts; that 'it's all about Christ!'

By looking at Scripture ( especially Genesis and Revelation ) from a covenantal viewpoint; I believe that the authors are saying basically the same thing: they've just taken the next logical step, because Christ is in effect, the Covenant itself!

There is more that could be said here; but let me just 'wrap up' this post with something that I told one of the authors of this book last night: "I think that the covenantal viewpoint will turn much of Scripture, as we have traditionally read it, not to mention, much of church 'doctrine'; 'on it's Head'!
